Pittsburgh Wedding at Clear Story Studio
Katie + Kurt
I love laid back couples. If I gave an Oscar to the most chilled couple this Oscar would certainly go to Katie and Kurt.
What a delight it was to work with them!
Katie and Kurt got married at their "alma mater", in a meaningful Catholic mass.
I have only photographed 2 catholic ceremonies in the United States, one was the wedding of Eric and Charlotte last year, and now this one, the second one. The funny thing is that both were officiated by the same deacon, Gregory Jelinek and Kurt and Charlotte are coworkers, Ha! what a coincidence!
After the mass, Uber saved the day, when the party bus suffered a little issue, but thanks to technology, everybody was able to quickly get to the beautifully decorated Clear Story Studio in South Side, where Pittsburgh BBQ was waiting for everyone with delicious food!
Flowers by Sapphire & Lace, patio lights, and a relaxed atmosphere were the perfect compliment to LaScola Italian Ice cart: Mama Mia!
After getting stuffed with the abundant dinner, Dj Ski was ready to get the party started, and what a party!!! I am pretty certain not one soul did not dance!
In the end, the celebration extended by Kurt and Katie's generosity.
The flowers were taken to a senior center, and I took the leftovers to some homeless people on the street.
It was a wonderful day!
Thank you Kurt and Katie
for a day filled with love and memorable emotions!.
