Wedding Goodness

As a wedding industry professional, my goal goes beyond taking pictures, my goal is to put the idea of using a wedding to change the world, encouraging vendors and couples to go the extra mile, for the planet, and for others.

I know, I'm a little crazy, but...
Wouldn’t it be amazing to create a new wedding tradition where on a couple’s to-do list was celebrant, photographer, dress, flowers and doing good?

This is why in every wedding, I ask the couple if I can have the leftovers. Then, at the end of the night, I drive around Pittsburgh's downtown looking for homeless people to feed.

During my last wedding, Phoebe and Brett generously donated their leftovers.

Thanks to the team effort of the catering company, Bistro To Go, the girls from Devoted To You, and Nick, my assistant, we packed the food in individual containers, ready to be delivered.

The night of September 3rd, 14 homeless people
went to sleep with a full belly.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible.

For us, it might be just a meal, but we are impacting people's lives by supplying an immediate need, and by showing kindness to society's most ignored humans, we are ultimately showing the world that we are culture shifters, changing traditions to spread kindness and being the change we wish to see in the world.

Thank you Phoebe + Brett
for producing social change with your wedding day!
