Harvey, The Uninvited Guest

This past Saturday, I flew to Englewood Florida to photograph Jourdan & Salomon's ethical bridal session.

We had the beautiful Blind Pass beach, a fair trade gown, sustainable paper, and a mission to support a charity (A21). It was promising, except for one uninvited guest, Hurricane Harvey.

We pulled off the session despite the rain, but Harvey was always threatening.

Jourdan and Solomon are originally from Houston, and as the city's horrific damage from Harvey progressed, I learned from Jourdan that their families are not doing so well:

GOING THROUGH CANCER AND HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR CAR OR YOUR BELONGINGS IS NOT THE BEST COMBO.
IF YOU COULD SPARE $5 OR $10 IT WOULD BE A BIG HELP, ESPECIALLY NOW THAT PRICES HAVE SKYROCKETED.
