Fall Vintage Boho Wedding
I rarely get contacted for more traditional weddings.
I don't blame anyone. I am a crazy foreigner who wears funny hairdos, speaks too much, and has a car that says "No Trump", so Christa was very brave.
I came recommended by her brother, a pastor from the City Reach church in the Johnstown area, called to save sinners like me.
Christa was brave when she hired me, but after a short talk with her, I knew she was indeed brave for more than just that.
She is the only girl among brothers, and lives in Missouri, far from her family who lives mostly right here in PA. There is where she met Jon, at the hospital where they both work. Jon was the preceptor and Christa says she had "a HUGE crush on him".
Photographers like me tend to be observers, and although I met Jon the day of the wedding, I was not surprised that Christa would have such a big crush on him. He is probably the kindest person I ever met. He is soft spoken, sweet, loving, and treated her like his most precious treasure the entire day.
They got married at Christa's parent's house, in Windber, PA, a small town east of Pittsburgh. Christa planned the whole thing with the help of her parents from far away. It was a vintage inspired fall wedding, with gorgeous fall foliage and scenic view. Not surprisingly, it rained that day, and even when we had to rapidly switch to an indoor plan B, Christa and Jon's day was filled with friendship, love, and the fall feeling that October brings.
Congrats to this beautiful couple!.
Enjoy some of the highlights of the day.
